The National Weather Service issued an updated forcast for the snow storm headed to the Tri State area: “New snow forecast: 18″- 24″ for NYC, North Eastern NJ, Lower Hudson Valley, much of Nassau, & portions of South Western CT. Lesser amounts as you head East due to warm air aloft & at the surface, changing snow to wintry mix of rain, snow, & sleet.”
The storm seems it will be very heavy and the forecast has went from 6 inches to now up to 24″. Mayor De Blasio of NYC has already shut public schools for Monday, and Governor Murphy of New Jersey has limited public transportation for Monday.
