Mordechai Shapiro has been in the studio a lot recently. He said back in March that he was working on “a lot of projects, not just 1 or 2”. On Thursday April 29th Mordechai Shapiro officially announced what new projects he’s working on.
We’ve been speculating for a while and Jewish Hock predicted Mordy would release an album in May/June around Shavuos time which marks 2 years since his latest album Hakol Mishamayim.
Mordy finally let us in to the behind the scenes and let us know what he’s working on. He announced a wedding album with the Freilach band that will Be’ezras Hashem come out around Shavuos time!
Jewish Hock is shocked by this announcement. Mordy has yet to release any song or album that wasn’t an original song. Mordy surprised us all and from now on it will be harder to predict what he’ll do.
Their are many questions regarding the wedding album. Will Mordy be singing standard wedding songs or will he sing his own wedding style compositions? How many tracks will the album have? Will their be any music videos with the album? Jewish Hock is working to answer these questions and we will update you when we know more.
