Will Purim Be In Lockdown For Israeli’s This Year?

High ranking Israli officials said Thursday that they are considering keeping the country shut down over Purim.

While it is unknown what will happen between now and Purim many are worried of the holiday causing large events. The Ministry plans to begin a “public information campaign” to prevent this. They are considering implementing a strict lockdown that will limit travel during the holiday.

There has been a recent decline in morbidity rate in many Chareidi communities, however the number of serious and critical patients in the country, has continued to rise.
