An amendment to the $1.9 trillion stimulus package led by James Inhofe (Republican, Oklahoma) was passed last week to keep the US embassy in Jerusalem. Only Three senators voted against the amendment. Senators Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Tom Carper. Senator Sanders and senator Warren have previously said they would move the embassy back to Tel Aviv when running in the democratic primary.
President Joe Biden has previously stated that he doesn’t have plans to move the embassy back to Tel Aviv.
