Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is investigating whether Lin Wood voted as a legal resident of Georgia in the 2020 election. Lin Wood is an an Attorney that had supported Trumps claim of “voter fraud” in the 2020 election. According to CNN Wood said in a statement “I have been a resident of the State of Georgia since 1955. I have changed my residency to South Carolina yesterday.” “This is pure harassment by the Georgia Secretary of State.” “I have spent time at my homes in Georgia and South Carolina. I considered myself to be domiciled and a resident of Georgia until yesterday when I made the decision to become a resident of South Carolina. Now I expect to be domiciled in South Carolina too. I will still frequently visit Georgia.”
He was permanently banned from Twitter last month after the riot at the Capitol on January 6th and after promoting “voter fraud claims” which twitter considered as “misinformation.
Wood also represented Nicholas Sandmann a Kentucky high school student, and got the boy enormous settlement money from CNN. He is also the chairman and CEO of #FightBack, which raised $2 million cash bail for Kyle Rittenhouse.
